Langkawi Trip - The first day.

Our trip started early in the morning, 430am early ! it was so early i overslept and then arrived at the gathering spot half an hour late, SHIT! Then we set off and started heading to Kuala Perlis to board the ferry going to Langkawi Island.

When we reached, we parked our cars at this parking lot located near to the jetty, and the fella offering the parking service is a cunt ! He charge us RM10 a day to park our car at their so call shaded secure parking lot which is a makeshift wooden shack infront of someone's abandoned kampung house, What the fuck man, 1st sign of an very expensive trip this gonna be ! We rush to the jetty on foot afterwards,

and bought ferry tickets to Langkawi for RM18 which is kind of pricy considering the ferry is something that looks like this piece of shit.

It is old, slow, smelly and then worst, i can't even get out of the ferry to take pics to post on my blog, FUCK ! It was a 45 minutes ferry ride to reach the island, so i took some motion sickness pills and had a nap.

After 45 minutes, we had arrived and for the 1st time in my life, public transportation had arrived on time and i am still intact.

We were at the Kuah Jetty around 8.45am and straight away we got ourselves a 14 seater van that cost us RM320 for 2 days.

My ride for 2 days, always prefer black but they only offer white.

After we had rent our island transportation, we were free to wander around the island and the 1st thing we did was to get breakfast, everyone was starving like hell. We arrived at this Chinese hawker center and this is my breakfast of the day, Authentic "Thailand Pork Leg Rice". It contains stewed pork leg & egg, veges, white rice cover in rich stewed sauce and it only cost me RM6. It is so darn good, its heavenly blessed, I highly recommending it to anyone that can eat pork.

After breakfast and some walkabout in Kuah Town, we headed straight to Cenang Beach where i had made booking for 6 rooms at Kedawang Beach Inn. Located behind the Langkawi Underwater Park, it is a relatively small inn compared to the other ones,but what it lack in size it counter back with its cheap rates, unique room designs and its on private beach side by side with Oasis Pub and Restaurant one of the best pub in Langkawi Island.

Our 1st venue of the day is Porto Malai Resort located 7km South of our inn. I had been to Langkawi previously and stayed at these resort the last time when i was here and i remembered that it was a very beautiful resort with wooden-deck waterfront promenade, Eropean lookalike buildings, a lighthouse and its own private marina.

After much photo taking and camwhoring, we decided to take the Island Hopping Package offered by the resort's activities department Pakcik (apparently, u doesn't have to stay at their resort to enjoy their services or maybe the Pakcik is just trying to make some extra "under the table cash" for RAYA).

But before we set out for Island Hopping, we need to first get lunch. An advice to anyone reading this and going to Langkawi in the future, please do not go to the following restaurant for breakfast, lunch, dinner nor supper.

It is one of the theme restaurant alongside the road heading to Porto Malai Resort, u won't miss it in a thousand years cause the theme of the restaurant is Chinese Kungfu.

Since i had a heavy pork leg breakfast, i decided to share lunch with Kimkim and we ordered the cheapest food on their menu, "Thai Style Fried Rice" (actually everyone also did the same, university students mah! no money so got to save on food loh) and it look something like this.

I figure out that this "Thai Style Fried Rice" we ordered must have ingredients like white rice, tom yam paste, prawn, ikan bilis, garlic, onion, red chili, newspaper and stone! Dun believe me, check it out yourself.

What the fuck !

I never in my life witness such glorious display of UFO "Unhygenic Food Object" in a single meal. I was so tulan, i almost wanted to Bruce Lee them using their decorations !

After the tulan lunch, i was really hoping that the island hopping is going to cheer us up but right before we were going to set out, rain started to fall. It was freaking cold and everyone is wet. Surprisingly, everyone seen to be having great fun although we r freezing wet.

It was actually very cold and i was forcing myself to smile for the camera.

All is not lost, the stormy weather gave us this pic

but when the rain starts to slow down, we set off. When we reach the 1st island, it seen that there wasn't any rain here and it was sunny and hot, exactly how i imagine my vacation to be.

Then things started to get crazy, everyone started Stripping taking their clothes off and start jumping into the water without checking whether there is any jellyfish anot !

After 1 hour at the island, we went to watch eagle feeding. Surprisingly ! the whole experience was very boring (it is just a bunch of eagles flying down to grab chicken meat).

Predetator or Scavenger ?

The last island of the day could simply be the best of the whole island hopping tour, the island's main attraction is the natural fresh water lake in the middle, but i must hike over a small hill to reach the lake.

The lake is famous for it's natural scenery, forest, vast lake and FISH SPA.

Not ur normal fish spa ! Why ?

They got wild slimy baby cat fish instead of the normal small tropical fishes

The baby cat fish spa was actually pretty good compared to the normal fish spa u see in the shopping mall. This one is furious and exciting, and if u r brave enough, go for the options and throw in some biscuit crumbs and u will get what i had.

After the Fish Spa, I jumped into the lake to take a dip. The lake is very deep and u can't touch the bottom of the lake. Been very confident with my swimming skill, i decided to take off the life jacket and swim in the lake. What a big mistake !

Got tired staying a float with only my 2 legs kicking. Damn peace signs!

Got to do something but what am i gonna do leh ?

After an hour, we all headed back to the pier and went back to our rooms and got ready for dinner. Everyone was very tired already and decided to have our dinner close to our inn.

Because me and Kimkim were very light dinner eater, we again decided to share our dinner and we order another plate of "Thai Style Fried Rice" (No money already, need to save for chocolate).

This time i make sure no other special ingredients were added.

But some of my slightly wealthier friends decided to have a 3 course meal because they were very hungry. They ate many many bowls of white rice. How many ?

When the bill came, they all got a shock ! (Me and Kimkim was actually laughing about it, lucky for us)

What the heck ! Even the price of the dishes are cheaper then the rice itself. Not to make matter worst, i was starting to get a little hungry but the food here are just too fucking expensive for me so this is what i did.
