Langkawi Trip - Last Day

The Last day at Langkawi Island ! Don't really want to go back but i still got a tonne of work back home waiting for me and my vacation fund is running low. So i forced myself to wake up early in the morning pack my bags and ate breakfast.

We check out from our hotel rooms at around 9 something and head back to the jetty to return back the van. Our return ticket back to Kuala Perlis is around 2.45pm which means we still had roughly 4 hours more to enjoy Langkawi so we deposited our luggages at the jetty and took a ride to Kuah Town for the last time to do some last minute shopping.

Langkawi is famous for its dirt cheap import chocolate, tax free cigarettes and liquor. But there is a quota, whereby 1 person is only eligible for a carton of cigarettes and 1 liter of liquor. So we bought whatever that we wanted and some requests from my friends back home. This is what we bought.

6 bottles of miniature whisky and vodka.

1 deuter backpack, a pair of nike court shoes, damn alot of chocolate and a carton of Marlboro Menthol for my gay friends back home.

After we had done shopping at Kuah Town, we all went to the Eagle Square which is a stone throw away from the jetty. Nothing much to do but just for taking pictures with this

Despite the harsh weather, lousy food, me still a VIRGIN and closed down of hanging bridge, the 14 of us still manage to enjoy ourselves and had a great time. It is nice to have friends tagging along for a trip like this, chatting, eating, sleeping and drinking. The bonding between all of us after this trip definitely got closer than never before.
